SCHLINGEL-Talk
The film medium has been taking a major role in the socialization of young viewers for a long time. The influence of modern audio-visual media in contemporary everyday life is still growing even more - despite their already existing dominance. The SCHLINGEL media educational programme with its numerous workshops takes this into account. Guided by professionals, children and young people can reflect on what they saw and find an access to the film medium.
Filmmakers whose work has been shown previously give an insight into their work and answer questions from the young audience, who gets first-hand background information on a film production, the intentions of the director or screenwriter, or the respective country and culture. The transfer of experience that goes along with the viewing of a film is thereby well strengthened in a sustainable way. The broad and intercultural approach of the SCHLINGEL Talk event makes it also interesting for those who have not seen the films yet.
The event will be moderated by the renowned film journalists Klaus-Dieter Felsmann and Axel Jürs.
